Michelle brings over 15 years of commercial construction experience in
general contracting and construction management to the table. As company
Principal, Michelle is directly responsible for FORTE YOUNG INC. operations.
She maintains executive responsibility for all projects and never fails to deliver
excellent results. What drives her? Personal ethics and a commitment to
excellence. Michelle believes that that you can be honest and successful at the
same time. Michelle is a strong leader and an excellent communicator. She
knows how to bring parties together to make things happen, even in the most
challenging of circumstances. Tapping into her female intuition helps solve
problems too.
Her architectural background is a tremendous asset to her success in construction
in that she was trained in
to think outside the box.
Michelle has worked the industry from many angles and is an accomplished
project manager. She has experience in land development, general contracting,
construction management, design-build and construction consulting services. Her
experience is diverse and includes both hard bid and negotiated work. She has
built various building types including concrete tilt-wall, multi-story steel frame,
CMU block, etc. and buildings range from new construction projects to expansions
and interior renovations. She has built branch banks, data centers, churches and
assembly occupancy facilities, multi-story office buildings, flex-space/warehouse/
distribution facilities, retail shopping centers, interiors projects, tenant build-outs
and even two luxury estates.

She earned two degrees from University of Florida | Gainesville, Florida:
+ Bachelor of Design, with Honors | College of Architecture
+ Master of Building Construction | M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction (BCN)
In her fourth year of architecture, she lived in Vicenza, Italy
through The Vicenza Institute of Architecture - a special program
for select students. She studied architecture and construction
while traveling through Italy and other parts of Europe.
